"The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others"
-Mahatma Gandi
I always say that if a client is meant to find me, they will. And I will learn from them. About being human and on the same team and supporting one another to keep a life moving forward in the right direction, towards your goals and dreams.

I have had a passion for organizing from a very young age. I watched my family home being built and took great interest in the construction and design process. I finally had my own room, and loved rearranging and organizing my space. I would rearrange heavy furniture around my room at nine years old. My parents often questioned how I managed to do that alone. I was determined. Nothing could stop me once I got a new vision for my space.

I had been dreaming up Time to Shine Organizing for many years, but after experiencing the loss of a loved one and navigating though various life transitions, I started feeling unorganized in my daily life and routines. I was working a full time demanding job and didn't have the time or energy to keep on top of being organized. It became my mission to get back on track. It was clear to me that if I was struggling during this challenging time, others were too. Often we feel like there is no one that can help us or that others will not understand.

The mission of Time to Shine Organizing is to inspire and help, to support and create change, to improve and ignite. To clear the path for you to chase your dreams, the things that will make you shine.
Prior to establishing Time to Shine Organizing, I worked as the Manager of Sports Administration for Special Olympics Florida-Miami-Dade County. This helped me to fully understand the inner workings of managing a successful, organized sporting program. This was by far my most powerful work experience. I learned each day from our athletes the beauty of finding joy in the little things, to take nothing for granted and to always work harder to be my personal best. There is power in community, positivity and acceptance.

I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania in 2004 and I have 25 years of experience working with children and families as an Early Childhood Educator and Private Childcare Provider. My experience working with children and families in the home and school environment has helped me to clearly identify everyday challenges of running a home and raising children.

I am experienced in managing legal, medical, hotel, restaurant and non-profit office administrative systems, and project management for hotel and residential remodeling. I am also familiar with planning and executing small celebrations and display tables to large scale restaurant and sporting events.
